If you become pregnant during a treatment cycle, you must inform your doctor immediately and take advantage of genetic counselling.
1000 mg/m2 BSA on days 1 to 5 of a treatment cycle (repeated every 3 to 4 weeks).
- For locally recurrent tumours and distant metastases: Depending on the general health and any existing comorbidities, Fluorouracil is given as a continuous infusion for 24 hours at a dose of 1000 mg/m2 BSA on days 1 to 5 of a treatment cycle in combination with cisplatin (repeated every 3 weeks) and on days 1 to 4 of a treatment cycle in combination with carboplatin (repeated every 3 weeks).
Fluorouracil Injection is administered in treatment cycles.
Depending on the treatment schedule, a treatment-free interval should be left between the last day of one treatment cycle and the first day of the next cycle until the blood count has recovered (see "Do not use Fluorouracil Injection").
